All Echo Mt. Fire Debris Ash Pre Jan 1st, 2004 must be tested for asbestos by a Certified Inspector.
If the test is positive for asbestos, a certified abatement contractor must handle the debris removal, per Oregon Department of Environmental Quality
At this time: In accordance to the guidance received from Oregon DEQ and Lincoln County, Schooner Creek Transfer cannot accept self-haul, pre or post 2004, fire debris. Fire debris can only be accepted from a Licensed CCB Contractor with self-dumping capabilities, with the required documentation and/or a NLSS drop box.
