The Schooner Creek Public Transfer Station is a drop-off site for both trash and recyclable items. We accept scrap metal and non-refrigerated appliances at no fee. Refrigerated appliances require a fee to remove the freon. Woody debris is $6 per cubic yard. A voucher for one free dump per month is available for garbage customers of NLSS and residents of Lincoln City.
The Transfer Station is located 367 S. Anderson Creek Rd.
Go south on 101 and turn left (east) on SE 48th St. At the stop sign stay right and this will turn into Schooner Creek Road. At the 2.5 mile marker, turn right on Anderson Creek Road. Go .3 miles and turn left at the Public Transfer Station sign.
Go north on 101. One mile north of the Siletz River, turn right on Drift Creek Road. At the 1.5 mile mark, turn left at the "T." Proceed .7 miles and turn right at the Public Transfer Station sign. If you get to Schooner Creek Road, you have gone .3 miles too far.
