We are excited to announce the expansion of our new Mixed Recycling Program county wide! Service Area: Starting in December, areas as far south as Beverly Beach to as far north as Rose Lodge will now have the convenience of recycling from home. We are currently in the process of delivering 95 gallon recycling carts to all of our customers, so please watch for your new cart. Recyclable Items: The mixed recycling includes cardboard (please flatten), all types of paper (please make sure shredded paper is bagged in paper bags) plastic bottles, tubs, and trays with the number 1-7, and aluminum & tin (please rinse well - no need to take off the labels). Motor oil can be placed next to the cart in a screw-on-cap container for pick up. Otherwise, everything can be placed loosely in the cart - that easy! As always, our recycling center takes plastic bags and glass. You can also drop off your glass bottles at the Otis Junction by the Otis Café and at Depoe Bay behind Depoe Bay City Hall. Non-Recyclable Items: There are a few items to keep out of your recycling cart, such as glass, Styrofoam, paper towels/ napkins, and plastic bags.
