Schooner Creek Transfer Station

The Schooner Creek Public Transfer Station is a drop-off site for both trash and recyclable items. We accept:


Household and commercial garbage can be dropped off for $16/cubic yard. There is a $8 minimum per dump.

Scrap Metal

Scrap metal and appliances are accepted at a small fee. Refrigerated appliances require a fee to remove the freon.

Woody Debris

Change it to Tree limbs, stumps and clean lumber (not painted or pressure treated) and the price is now $8 per cubic yard. A voucher for one free dump per month is available for garbage customers of NLSS and residents of Lincoln City. Please remove any metal larger than a 16 penny nail.

We accept mixed recycling, glass, and cardboard at no fee.

Reusable Items

We take reusable items at no fee for our ReSale area. Please check with the attendant to see if what you have is something we can accept and you will not pay dump fees. We focus on construction and household materials like windows, doors, sinks, and furniture. Check out our inventory if you are looking for any of these items as well.


We accept; concrete, brick, dirt, and other inert materials. You can get a drop box to load on your own or haul it to Schooner Creek Transfer Station. Call for rates.


The Transfer Station is located 367 S. Anderson Creek Rd.

From Lincoln City - Head east on SE 48th Street. After the bridge it will become Schooner Creek Rd; continue heading east. At the 2.5 mile marker, turn right on Anderson Creek Road. Go .3 miles and turn left at the Public Transfer Station sign.

From Depoe Bay - Go north on 101. One mile north of the Siletz River, turn right on Drift Creek Road. At the 1.5 mile mark, turn left at the "T." Proceed .7 miles and turn right at the Public Transfer Station sign. If you get to Schooner Creek Road, you have gone .3 miles too far.
