11/14/23 Exploding Lithium Batteries

After announcing last week our acceptance of ALL batteries free of charge at our Recycling Center, we thought this article would be a helpful reminder as to why it's so important to bring them to us to be recycled and not throw them in your roll carts.

Not only are they causing fires in landfills, but they're also starting fires ingarbage/recycling trucks and transfer stations. Please keep everyone safe by bringing all of your batteries to us at 1726 SE Hwy 101, Lincoln City, OR 97367. Thank you!
