12/23/23 Smart Holiday Recycling

Be a smart recycler this holiday and follow these tips to make sure you have a clean recycling roll cart after Christmas.

Our recycling drivers let us know that the items on the right are most commonly found incorrectly in the recycling roll carts after Christmas, when in reality they need to be put into your garbage roll carts (or reused/donated!).

Recycle:

• Paper egg cartons
• #1 & #2 bottles & jugs
• Christmas magazines
• Paper wrapping paper

Landfill:

• Broken Christmas lights
• Bows & ribbon (or reuse next year)
• Styrofoam of any kind
• Plastic or foil wrapping paper

As a reminder, these are the ONLY items that can go into your recycling roll cart. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have 😊
