12/04/23 Employee Spotlight: Tim Shawver

Our employee highlight this week is Tim Shawver! Tim started in April 2023 and has been working at NLSS for just over 7 months.

Tim is currently our roll cart washer and helps cover the recycling center. He recently passed his CDL permit test, so give him a huge round of applause since that is no small feat! We have loved having Tim on the team so far and are looking forward to many more years together. 👏

• Where are you from & what's your favorite thing about NLSS?

Born and raised in the Newport/Lincoln City area. I love working with NLSS because of the family environment and camaraderie between coworkers. 🌊

• Tell us a little about your family...

I have 2 kids who are both boys (see the adorable photos!) 👦👦

• What are your favorite hobbies?

I love to go camping, hunting, and be in the mountains. 🗻

We are so happy that Tim decided to join this past spring. He has been a wonderful addition and everyone appreciates his calm and helpful demeanor. Say "hi" to Tim if you ever see him filling in at the recycling center or out on routes learning the ropes!
