Mixed Compost Recycling
May 27, 2026
Now that we're heading into summer, it's a good time to remember what is and is not accepted in your Mixed Compost roll cart (the one with the brown lid!).
In the second photo, you'll see some real life examples of contamination our Mixed Compost driver sees often. If you put anything outside of food waste and yard debris in this roll cart, you'll receive a contamination notice and your cart won't be picked up until that contamination is fixed.
